USA Swimming interns are selected from the United States Olympic Committee internship program. The program is available to college students. USA Swimming hires three interns each year -- one in fall, one in winter/spring and one in summer, in the areas of National Team and Communications.

The USA Swimming intern lives and works in Colorado Springs, Colo. Interns live at Olympic Training Centers and eat their meals at the Athletes' Dining Hall.  A small stipend is also provided.

To be eligible for the internship program, students must have completed at least two years of college before the start of the internship and be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited United States college or university.  Internships are competitive.
