A big October upset took place in Category #2 (76-150) when Charles River Aquatics Dragons soared to the top spot with 42,445 points, edging out Splash Aquatics – Makiki’s by a mere 3,000 points. Bumped down a notch and into third place was Swim Utah, with Velocity Swimming moving into the fourth place position.
A fun way to earn some extra bonus points and move up a notch or more in the standings is to boost your total score by 5,000 points when you submit a video of your 2013 Swim-a-Thon™ event! Read official contest rules for details.
Additionally, in each of the four categories, the team that has achieved the highest average dollar raised per athlete will earn an additional 10,000 bonus points! Take note of the impressive numbers for teams currently ranked
in the #1 spot for highest average gross dollar raised per athlete!

*Leaderboard results are based on the club's accumulated contest points to date. Leaderboard results are reported on clubs who have submitted their financial report and payment to the USA Swimming Foundation. Clubs must turn in their financial report and payment within 60 days of event to qualify for entry into the contest. The Swim-a-Thon™ season is in high gear and the USA Swimming Foundation is right by your side ready to help you make this year's fundraising event the most fun and successful ever imagined!
We are excited to introduce an all new 2013 promotional Swim-a-Thon™ contest! This contest is designed to create some mind-blowing team spirit and extreme levels of competitive action when your athletes and coaches find out they are competing with other Swim-a-Thon™ events all across the country to win awesome prizes, and a chance at the grand prize - a personal club visit from Olympic gold medalist Ricky Berens!
The rules are simple!
Host a USA Swimming Foundation Swim-a-Thon™ between January and November 2013, and you are automatically entered into our 2013 Swim-a-Thon™ Contest! Not interested? No worries. You can always opt out.
Here's how it works: Host a USA Swimming Foundation Swim-a-Thon™ and earn points for dollars raised. Don't forget to check out our Official Rules to learn how you can earn some easy bonus points, and we mean VERY easy. Clubs will compete against each other to get the most points.
How do you win? If your club has the most points in your category, then you're a Gold Medal winner! To keep the contest fair, categories are based on the size of your club. The category winners are called Gold Medal winners because who doesn't want to go for the gold?
What do Gold Medal winners get? Pretty epic prizes! Including an entry into the Grand Prize drawing, a customized Deck Pass Patch for your club or team, a feature article in USA Swimming's Splash magazine, $200 in Visa gift cards AND a gift certificate to a pizza joint to host a really sweet team party!
And that's not all! One Gold Medal winner will be randomly drawn, and if your team or club is chosen, then you'll receive the Grand Prize - a personal visit from Olympic gold medalist Ricky Berens!
