About USA Swimming Safe Sport
The USA Swimming Safe Sport Program focuses on raising awareness and reducing the risk of abuse in sport.
Our organization has no tolerance for violations of our Code of Conduct, and we are committed to investigating claims and ridding our sport of abusers. Creating and maintaining a safe environment for our athletes is one of USA Swimming’s many top priorities.
We actively encourage our members to join us in protecting athletes by going through training, making appropriate reference checks and reporting potential instances of abuse.
As the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming in the United States, USA Swimming is a 400,000-member service organization that promotes the culture of swimming by creating opportunities for swimmers and coaches of all backgrounds to participate and advance in the sport through clubs, events and education.
