Olympians face off in Atlanta
America’s top swimmers are back in action this week, Dec. 4-6, at the 2008 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming Short Course National Championships in Atlanta, Ga. The meet will mark the first major competition for many of them since the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.  Read more...

Phelps named SI Sportsman of the Year
Sports Illustrated has named Michael Phelps as its 2008 Sportsman of the Year.
Phelps, who won eight gold medals at the Olympic Games in Beijing, is the first swimmer in the magazine’s 54-year history to win the award and the sixth Olympian to be so honored. Read more...
