Aquatic Programming

Gaining an understanding of the Aquatic Spectrum is a must for success. Successful programming involves understanding how horizontal and vertical aquatics fit together. It also involves having a good intergenerational connection.

USA Swimming brings all aquatic groups together for the betterment of sports, fitness and wellness. Establishing viable programs and services targeted at increasing the number of competition swimming pools in the U.S. is a major goal of facility development.

Objectives:

Programming assistance from USA Swimming will aid our members in learning to:

  • design and implement programs
  • design and implement fee structures
  • improve cash flow and traffic flow
  • understand aquatic staffling needs
  • offer the “Window of Exercise”
  • offer programming for multi-generational use
  • offer aquatic physical therapy

Aquatic facilities are becoming an indispensable part of the health and wellness industry. It is not a passing fad, aquatic sports, exercise and fitness is here to stay.
