Glen Oaks is a seasonal club team that operates in the Fall only (Sept. 1 - Dec. 10th). We typically have 80 or so swimmers each Fall from many different Summer league teams including our own. We describe ourselves as a step above Summer league swimming but not as intense as the full year round club teams in the area. Swimmers come to us to improve skills, strength and endurance with the intent of returning to their Summer teams. We are also a good way to get a taste of year round swimming before deciding to make the full transition. We attend all the local USA meets plus a travel meet to Reno. We swim at a small, 1950s style cabana club nestled in the neighborhoods of Carmichael CA.
