2009 Golden Goggles: Highlighting the Nominees, Part 3  (11/18/2009)
The Golden Goggle Awards will take place this Sunday, November 22 in Los Angeles. In the final days leading up to the event, the final three award categories have been highlighted. This week's focus is Coach of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year and Male Athlete of the Year.  Read more...

Hardy breaks world record as World Cup in Berlin concludes  (11/15/2009)
U.S. swimmers had a strong night in the water Sunday at the FINA World Cup in Berlin. Jessica Hardy (Long Beach, Calif.) broke her own world record and won gold in the women’s 50m breast while Michael Phelps (Baltimore, Md.), Peter Marshall (Atlanta, Ga.), Lauren Driscoll (Cooper City, Fla.) and Whitney Myers (Oxford, Ohio) all claimed silver medals on the second and final night of the meet in Germany.  Read more...

Sutton sets second meet record in Minneapolis  (11/15/2009)
Olympian Chloe Sutton of Mission Viejo Nadadores wrapped up the final night of the Minneapolis Grand Prix with a meet record in the women’s 1650-yard freestyle. It was her second gold medal of the three-day meet, her fourth medal overall.  Read more...

Hardy, Marshall and Myers win silver in Berlin  (11/14/2009)
U.S. Swimmers took home three silver medals Saturday, on the first day of competition at the FINA World Cup in Berlin. Jessica Hardy (Long Beach, Calif.), Peter Marshall (Atlanta, Ga.) and Whitney Myers (Oxford, Ohio) each took home hardware, while Michael Phelps (Baltimore, Md.) finished fourth, just outside of medal contention, in the men’s 200m fly with a time of 1:52.26.  Read more...

Soni sets second meet record in Minneapolis  (11/14/2009)
Thiago Pereira and Olympian Rebecca Soni each won two events and set a meet record Saturday on the second night of the Minneapolis Grand Prix. Soni won the women’s 400-yard IM in 4:14.41 and set the meet record in the women’s 200y breaststroke in 2:07.68. Pereira set the meet record in the men’s 400y IM in 3:43.72 and won the men’s 200y breast in 1:56.44.  Read more...
