New for 2010: Regional "Build a Pool" Conferences
"Plan It - Program It - Design It"
As of April 2009, we have conducted 5 National Build a Pool Conferences. To date we estimate this conference has been an important part of over 65 new facilities being commissioned since 2004. It has also played a secondary role in over 100 additional projects. Our professioanl providers have played a MAJOR part in these successes.
Now we have decided to make an effort to take the Build a Pool Conference to the regional level so our clubs and projects have a more economical option to acquire information. These 1 day 8 hour events (or a day and a half, 12 hour events) will be conducted by our Facilities Development Department staff. Here is the tentative schedule for the next two year period. For the regional conferences we are cooperatively working with the States Coaches Clinics, YMCA, Aquatic Exercise Association,Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute, and Starfish Aquatic Institute. We will benefit by the opportunity to take advantage of conference group room rates. Our professional providers will have the option to promote their products or services at the exhibit hall.
