The 2008 Speedo Short Course Junior Championships drew to a close Saturday in Austin, Texas. Amber McDermott of Salmon Bay collected her fourth win of the meet on day 3, taking first in the women’s 1650-yard free with a time of 16:02.79.

Breaststrokers Katie Edwards of Arden Hills and Cody Miller of Clark County emerged with their second wins of the week Saturday in the women’s and men’s 200y breast, turning in times of 2:11.22 and 1:56.46, respectively.  Edwards and Miller also won the women’s and men’s 100y breast on Friday.
