LSC Governance Consultant: Description of Services
The USA Swimming LSC Governance Consultant serves as a resource to LSC General Chairs and Boards of Directors on matters related to the governance of the LSC. Services provided to the LSC by the Governance Consultant include:
- LEAP Mentor: Assists the LSC as it works toward the successful completion of any level of USA Swimming’s LSC Evaluation & Achievement Program (LEAP).
- LEAP Facilitator: Is the main point of contact for the LSC during the LEAP evaluation phase.
- LSC Visits: Conducts two-day strategic planning sessions for LSC Boards of Directors at the request of the LSC leadership. Visits include collaborating with the LSC leadership team to plan the meeting, conducting a pre-meeting survey, facilitating the on-site planning session, and constructing a post-visit summary report which includes the LSC’s strategic plan.
