USA Swimming House Brings Olympic Experience, VIP Hospitality to U.S. Olympic Trials – Swimming
USA Swimming has created a new hospitality venue that will be the centerpiece for the social scene around the U.S. Olympic Trials – Swimming. USA Swimming House will be the social hub to entertain fans, friends and clients with corporate hospitality, fan food and beverage and opportunities to meet Olympians.
The 5,000-square foot upstairs and balcony of the Old Mattress Factory Bar and Grill will transform to USA Swimming House throughout all eight days of the Trials (June 26-July 3). USA Swimming House will be easily accessible to fans as the Century Link Center is within walking-distance. The historic building built in 1883 will be a popular destination for pre- and post-competition entertainment, public events and private functions.
“Creating a ‘House’ is such a big part of the Olympic Games experience, we wanted to bring that experience to Omaha for the Trials,” said USA Swimming Chief Marketing Officer Matt Farrell. “It’s the perfect place to just relax outside of swimming sessions or throw your own special event. National and Omaha-based businesses are already getting involved in what we feel will be the perfect social meeting spot to complement to the Trials itself and the Aqua Zone fan.”
With the versatility and space to offer private VIP functions and open-to-the-public access for fans and families, USA Swimming House will host daily activities such a meet-up area, retail, sponsored experiences, music events, replays of the Trials broadcasts and appearances from Olympic legends. An outside upper deck area is available for public or private special events.
