2012 Paralympic Games news, videos and results

The swimming competition of the 2012 Paralympic games is now under way.

The U.S. Olympic Committee has secured the rights to broadcast the Paralympic Games in the United States, and its writers, photographers and camera crews will be creating multiple daily news and feature stories about Paralympic athletes, competitions and other London events. This will be in addition to the 600 hours of live web streaming done by the International Paralympic Committee, as well as highlight shows on NBC Sports Network (Sept. 6 and 11 at 7 p.m. ET) and NBC on Sept. 16 from 2-3:30 p.m.

The USOC’s daily video content will be available on its YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/usparalympics). The U.S. Paralympic web site, www.usaparalympics.org, houses the 2012 U.S. Paralympic Team media guide, and throughout the Games, the USOC will have athlete feature stories, photo galleries and other Team USA highlights.
