Olympic Gold Medalists Nathan Adrian and Conor Dwyer Headline U.S. National Team Alumni Social
U.S. Olympic gold medalists Nathan Adrian (Bremerton, Wash.) and Conor Dwyer (Winnetka, Ill.) will headline the 2014 U.S. National Team Alumni Social held on site at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center on Saturday in Austin, Texas.
“I’m so honored to speak with USA Swimming legends this weekend at the National Team Alumni Social,” said Dwyer, a University of Florida graduate. “I am so grateful for the traditions they set before me and humbled to a part of it.”
Following Saturday’s prelims at the men’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship, U.S. National Team alums and family members will gather for the event. Adrian and Dwyer will speak at the event along with USA Swimming Foundation executive director Debbie Hesse.
Adrian and Dwyer’s appearance at the 2014 U.S. National Team Alumni Social is part of USA Swimming’s Athlete Partnership Program. The program is a platform for National Team swimmer to encourage kids and adults to take up the sport as a healthy and positive activity.
