Sun Devil Swimming Association Hosts Fifth-Annual Gala

The Sun Devil Swimming Association (SDSA) will host its Fifth-Annual Dinner Gala and Casino Night on Friday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. at the Tempe Center for Arts, in an effort to celebrate “Arizona State’s Olympic History.” Olympic gold medalist Nathan Adrian will attend the event as part of USA Swimming’s swIMPACT program. Kaitlin Sandeno and Charlie Houchin are also scheduled to be in attendance as all three swimmers are working hard to help Arizona State permanently endow the sport of swimming and diving. Each year, ASU moves closer to meeting its goal of a fully-funded program and this year will be no different.

Friday’s event kicks off with a 3 p.m. meet and greet, complete with a tour of the newly-renovated Mona Plummer Aquatic Center as well as a chance to meet the current ASU swim team members. In addition, Olympians Adrian, Sandeno and Houchin will be there as well for photo opportunities and questions. At 5 p.m., there will be a private reception with the Olympians in the “Gold Medal Lounge” followed by a public reception beginning at 6 p.m. Dinner and Casino Night will begin promptly at 8 p.m.  Everyone is encouraged to participate in the fun and enter to win prizes!
