National Drowning Prevention Symposium

“USA Swimming invites our members to attend the 8th Annual National Drowning Prevention Symposium, presented by MG International, February 23-24, 2009 in Miami Beach. The theme, “Lighting the Way to Safer Waters,” reflects the belief that drowning is a complex public health issue, requiring a multi-faceted approach to prevention.  The Symposium, hosted this year by the US Swim School Association, showcases the best-of-the-best in drowning prevention educational programming, strategies, research, legislative efforts, and products. USA Swimming is a proud supporter of the 2009 Symposium and believes that our members will gain valuable information to promote water safety back in your own communities.” For additional information, click on the logo below or go to the National Drowning Prevention web site.
