p>A trio of USA Swimming National Team members wrapped up the Arena Pro Swim Series at Indianapolis on Sunday with their third victories of the weekend at the Indiana University Natatorium on the Campus of IUPUI.
Melanie Margalis (Clearwater, Fla./St. Petersburg Aquatics) pulled away on the breaststroke length to win the women’s 200-meter individual medley easily, touching in 2 minutes, 11.25 seconds. She also claimed the 100m and 200m breaststroke titles in Indianapolis and was second in the women’s 200m free.
Jay Litherland (Alpharetta, Ga./Dynamo Swim Club) came from behind to win the men’s 200m IM in 1:59.93, just ahead of Georgia teammate Gunnar Bentz (Atlanta, Ga./Athens Bulldog Swim Club), who took second in 2:00.06. Litherland also doubled up to win the men’s 400m IM and 200m free on Friday.
Leah Smith (Pittsburgh, Pa./Unattached) also won her third event of the meet Sunday, taking the women’s 800m free title in 8:24.87 after winning the 200m and 400m free earlier in the weekend.
Olympian Connor Jaeger (Fair Haven, N.J./Club Wolverine) closed out his meet with a victory in the men’s 1500m free in 15:28.34, following up his 400m free win from Saturday.
Up next for the United States’ top swimmers is the June 26-July 3 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming in Omaha, Nebraska.

• Erin Voss (Northampton, Mass./Bluefish Swim Club) in the women’s 200m back in 2:10.12
• Arianna Vanderpool Wallace of the Bahamas in the women’s 100m free in 54.18
• Santo Condorelli of Canada in the men’s 100m free in 48.34
• Arkady Vyatchanin in the men’s 200m back in 1:58.40

The Arena Pro Swim Series at Indianapolis is one of seven stops of the 2015-16 Arena Pro Swim Series. As part of USA Swimming’s partnership with swimwear leader Arena, the circuit will feature a record $350,000 in overall prize money. Swimmers may earn awards for top-three finishes in all individual Olympic events across the series. At each meet, $1,000 will be provided for a first-place finish, $600 for second and $200 for third. In addition to the single-event prize money, the overall male and female winners of the season-long Series will earn a $10,000 bonus.
For the third consecutive season, longtime USA Swimming partner BMW will award the grand prize of a one-year lease of a BMW vehicle to the highest-scoring eligible male and female U.S. swimmers.
Male and female overall Arena Pro Swim Series champions will be honored at the conclusion of the 2015-16 series based on the number of points accumulated throughout the seven meets. Participants will be awarded points in each individual Olympic event throughout the duration of the Series (Five points for first, three for second, one point for third place).
