Anderson, Wilimovsky Lead U.S. at FINA Hong Kong World Cup


HONG KONG – Olympians and world champions Haley Anderson and Jordan Wilimovsky led 14 Americans in action with top-seven finishes Saturday at the FINA 10K Marathon Swim World Cup stop in Hong Kong.

Wilimovsky just missed the podium in the men’s race after touching fourth in 1:53:12.30, while Anderson took seventh in the women’s event in 2:02:16.30.

A group of junior team athletes also were competing with Erica Sullivan leading the women in 15th place with a time of 2:03:10.20 and T.C. Smith pacing the junior men in 29th in 1:53:32.80.
