MIROMAR LAKES, Fla. – Olympic medalist and world champion Haley Anderson (Granite Bay, Calif./Trojan Swim Club) and junior world champion Taylor Abbott (Cedar Park, Texas/University of Tennessee) were victorious in Saturday’s Crippen Cup 10K at the Open Water Festival.
Anderson touched in 2 hours, 2 minutes, 21.4 seconds to earn the win by 27 seconds over runner-up and fellow National Team member Becca Mann (Homer Glen, Ill./Trojan Swim Club), who finished in 2:02:48.4.
On the men’s side, Abbott took the win in 1:55:02.8 under 2 seconds clear of runner-up and National Junior Team member Brennan Gravley (Las Vegas, Nev./Sandpipers of Nevada), who was second in 1:55:04.3. Click here for full results.
