Colorado Springs, Colo. (March 2, 2020) – In the seventh year of its partnership with USA Swimming, TrueSport, a positive youth sports initiative powered by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), today announced the launch of the 2020 Deck Pass, featuring TrueSport activities. This annual collaborative effort provides the more than 200,000 Deck Pass users with monthly interactive educational experiences that teach and develop skills to help young athletes succeed, both in and out of the pool.
Throughout the year, Deck Pass users have an opportunity to collect up to 10 limited-edition patches by completing a variety of topic-based activities focused on the TrueSport cornerstones: Clean & Healthy Performance, Character Building & Life Skills and Sportsmanship. In 2020, users will be introduced to new topics like Conflict and Resolution, Performance Anxiety, Body Image, and Mindfulness and Gratitude.
Beginning March 2, Deck Pass activities kick off with a message of encouragement from Regan Smith, 2019 World Champion in the 200-meter backstroke and current world record holder of the 100-meter and 200-meter backstroke.
