Note: As per the Steering Committee’s April 2011 decision, the 2011 AT&T Short Course National Championships to be held Dec. 1-3 in Atlanta, Ga., will now be a long course competition to allow participants an opportunity to achieve Olympic Trials qualifying standards.

Olympians Jason Lezak, Matt Grevers and Amanda Weir headline the list of swimmers competing at the 2012 Missouri Grand Prix, February 10-12 in Columbia, Mo. The Missouri Grand Prix is the third stop of the 2011-2012 Grand Prix Series and will take place at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.

Adam Mania, a former University of Wisconsin standout, went to the 2004 Olympics as a member of the Polish Olympic team. He had dual citizenship. But a few years later, Mania decided he wanted to make the U.S. Olympic team.

Adam Mania went to the 2004 Olympics as a member of the Polish team. Then, in 2007, he decided that he wanted to try for the United States roster. He missed the U.S. team in 2008, but that won’t stop him from attempting to come back and make the team this year.
