2012 Grand Prix Standings thru March 31

2011-12 USA Swimming Grand Prix Series

The 2011-12 USA Swimming Grand Prix Series will make seven stops across the nation.

 

Attention Coaches:  Due to the Olympic year, all 2011-12 USA Swimming Grand Prix events will be capped at 700 swimmers.  Entries will be accepted through OME beginning approximately 60 days prior to the meets, and will close as soon as the entry cap is reached.

05/13/2012  Lochte and Berens Win Gold on Final Night in Charlotte
Ryan Lochte picked up his first medal of the meet with a gold in the men’s 200m medley on the final night of the Charlotte UltraSwim Grand Prix. Ricky Berens won his second gold medal in front of a hometown crowd in the men’s 100m free.
05/12/2012  Soni and Vollmer Win Again on the Third Night of Charlotte Grand Prix
Rebecca Soni and Dana Vollmer collected their second gold medals of the meet during the third night of the Charlotte UltraSwim Grand Prix. Michael Phelps picked up his second medal of the meet with a silver in the 200m fly.
05/11/2012  Hardy, Soni and Vollmer Collect Gold at the Charlotte Grand Prix
Dana Vollmer, Rebecca Soni and Jessica Hardy each earned a gold and silver medal on the second night of action at the Charlotte UltraSwim Grand Prix. Michael Phelps collected a silver medal in the 200m free.
05/10/2012  Can't Miss Race at the Charlotte UltraSwim® GP
It seems cliché, expected, and redundant to label another Phelps swim as a “Can’t Miss Race” – but we must. In recent interviews Phelps has given hinting of a post-2012 competition-free lifestyle, to not acknowledge this potential end-of-an-era seems, at least to me, exponentially more improper.
05/10/2012  Sutton and LaTourette Win on the First Night of the Charlotte Grand Prix
Chloe Sutton and Chad LaTourette claimed gold in the 1500m free and 800m free, respectively, on the first night of the Charlotte UltraSwim Grand Prix at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center in Charlotte, N.C.
