Starred in a behind-the-scenes documentary entitled Unfiltered: The Story Behind the Rivalry with teammate and rival Ian Crocker that was released in October of 2005; Unfiltered was selected for the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival in New York … after the 2004 Games in Athens, Phelps participated in a 14-city post-Olympic tour with fellow Olympic teammates Crocker and Lenny Krayzelburg in an effort to raise the profile of the sport of swimming … co-authored a book with Sports Illustrated’s Brian Cazeneuve entitled, “Michael Phelps: Beneath the Surface”; it was released in the fall of 2004
