Most athletes join USA Swimming through their swim team. To find a club in your area, use the USA Swimming Club Finder

Athletes who wish to be unattached (no swim team affiliation) can join through their Local Swimming Committee (LSC). Most LSCs post application forms on their websites. From the LSC website, print out the “Athlete Application Form” or follow the instructions on the website. Complete the form and mail it with payment to the address printed on the form.

Non-athletes (coaches, officials, others) join through their LSC; non-athlete application forms can be found on most LSC websites.
