
Tom Dolan is a two-time Olympian and three-time Olympic medalist, winning gold in the 400-meter individual medley at both the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, as well as silver in the 200-meter individual medley in Sydney. As a University of Michigan swimmer, Tom was twice named Big Ten Swimmer of the Year (1994-95) and helped lead the Wolverines to the 1995 NCAA team title. Tom was named to the USA Swimming Team of the Century in 2000 and was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 2006.
After retiring from competition, Tom founded the Tom Dolan Swim School, inspired by a desire to share the confidence, discipline, and life skills that swimming gave him. He currently serves as President of Corporate Pools for Big Blue Swim School, overseeing 22 locations.
Tom previously served on the USOPC Athletes Advisory Council and as an athlete member of the USA Swimming Board of Directors.
