Tom Ugast

Tom Ugast is a longtime club owner and coach who brings extensive experience developing swimmers at all levels of the sport. Throughout his career, Ugast has worked with athletes ranging from novice and age-group swimmers to those pursuing high school, collegiate, and elite-level opportunities. His experience as a club owner and coach provides a firsthand perspective on the role clubs play in athlete development and in supporting the broader success of USA Swimming.

As CEO of Nation’s Capital Swimming, Tom manages a large multi-site organization with significant financial, programming, and athlete development responsibilities. Tom also brings previous USA Swimming Board experience, along with a background in fiscal oversight and LSC leadership.
