Brian Rodde

BOARD MEMBER

Brian serves as a Managing Partner at Makena Capital (makenacap.com), an investment firm managing $23 billion in assets and headquartered in Menlo Park, California. Before joining Makena, he was an investor with SVB Capital. Brian earned both his undergraduate degree in economics and an MBA from Stanford University, where he also captained the varsity swim team.

Outside of his professional career, Brian has an extensive background in swimming as a competitive pool swimmer, open water swimmer, and club team board member. He is also currently a member of the Stanford Athletic Board. Brian resides in Hillsborough, California, with his wife and three children, all of whom share a passion for swimming in the pool and open water.
