Deirdre Clute is a Managing Director at Forum Ventures, where she invests in early stage B2B founders and leads the San Francisco office. She partners closely with entrepreneurs on go-to-market, fundraising, and the emotional rollercoaster of building from zero to one.
Before joining Forum, Deirdre cofounded Rightfoot, a fintech infrastructure company that raised $21M from firms including Bain Capital Ventures and earned recognition on the Forbes Cloud 100 Rising Stars and CB Insights Fintech 100 lists. During this time, she was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 for her work in enterprise technology. Before startup life, she began her career at PepsiCo, building and scaling national brands.
Deirdre received her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and her undergraduate degree from Harvard University, where she captained the Varsity Swim & Dive Team. A lifelong swimmer, she now competes in masters swimming with the Olympic Club and open water events with the Dolphin Club, still happiest when she’s in or near the water.
