Jill Johnson

Senior Manager, Development

Jill Johnson joined the USA Swimming Foundation in 2012 and serves as the Manager of Development. In her role, she leads the strategy and execution of the donor management system (DMS), data analysis and the annual fund. She is passionate about donor-centric and data-driven philanthropy and, during her tenure, continues to bring that passion and knowledge to the organization to achieve and increase fundraising goals annually.

She joined the sport of swimming just before high school as her family prioritized the importance of completing swim lessons. This led her to joining the high school team and then a summer team for the next four years. She swam recreationally during and after college.

Her previous experience includes Encana Oil & Gas Inc., working as an Administrative Environmental Health and Safety Data Entry Clerk and as a camp counselor for the Center for Math, Science, and Environmental Education. She was the research intern for the Office of Alumni Relations at Metropolitan State College of Denver. She earned her bachelor’s in 2010.

Johnson resides in Colorado Springs with her daughter, Julianne, who is currently in swim lessons and growing her own passion for swimming.
