Molly Quinn

Major Gift Officer

Molly Quinn has been passionate about swimming her entire life. She began as an age-group and high school competitor, where she developed a deep commitment to water safety. In her first job as a learn-to-swim instructor, she helped hundreds of children and adults gain confidence in the water.

Quinn has built most of her career at the intersection of sports and philanthropy. She is an accomplished nonprofit executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience in mission-driven organizations and a strong record of increasing revenue through philanthropy, foundation partnerships, and strategic fundraising. Before joining the USA Swimming Foundation as a Major Gift Officer, she served as CEO of the U.S. Association of Blind Athletes, where she expanded the organization’s impact and led two Paralympic team sports. Earlier, as Vice President of Fitness Partnerships at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, she oversaw national partnerships that raised tens of millions of dollars by connecting athletic programs with charitable giving.

A career highlight for Quinn was serving as volunteer Executive Director of ACHIEVE Kids Triathlon in Washington, DC, an organization focused on swim instruction and water safety. In that role, she introduced young people to swimming in 10 underserved communities across the country.

Quinn earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she played club water polo and competed in women’s rowing in the Big Ten. She remains active as a master’s swimmer, competing in both pool and open-water events.

Originally from Chicago, Quinn has lived and worked throughout the United States. She now lives on the West Coast with her husband and enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
