The first update to the calendar will be the addition of the 2022 TYR Pro Swim Series Westmont, which will take place March 2-5 at the FMC Natatorium in Westmont, Illinois. TYR Pro Swim Series competition will resume at the end of March with a stop in San Antonio, which remains in its original timeslot on the calendar, followed by the TYR Pro Swim Series Mission Viejo, which has been moved from its original June 29-July 2 date up to June 1-4.
Additionally, USA Swimming is reinstating prize money at its 2022 TYR Pro Swim Series, providing $1,500 to first-place finishers, $1,000 to second-place finishers and $500 to third-place finishers.
