Matching the announced change to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games event order, USA Swimming today announced an identical change to the event order of the upcoming U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming, which will be held June 15-23 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The shift updates the order of events for the June 19 and 20 evening sessions. On June 19, the women’s 200m butterfly semifinal and men’s 200m breaststroke final will swap places, making the butterfly event the third race of the evening while the breaststroke event will be the seventh. On June 20, the men’s 50m freestyle semifinal will now be the third race of the evening (originally sixth), while the women’s 200m backstroke semifinal will be the fifth race of the evening (originally third).
