COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Swimming, the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming, today announced its roster for the 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, to be held August 17-20 in Vancouver, Canada. 20 men and 20 women qualified based on results from the 2026 Toyota U.S. National Championships. Luka Mijatovic (Pleasanton Seahawks) returns to the international stage after winning individual gold in the 200m and 400m freestyle at the 2024 Junior Pan Pacific Championships. Mijatovic enters Vancouver on a high note, having won the 400m freestyle national title at the Toyota National Championships against a senior field and finishing third in the 1500m and 800m freestyle. He qualified in the 200m, 800m, and 1500m freestyle for Vancouver.

On the women's side, Audrey Derivaux (Jersey Wahoos) leads the team with five individual events (100 FL, 200 FL, 200 BK, 200 IM, 400 IM) and makes her second consecutive Junior Pan Pacs appearance after debuting in Canberra in 2024. Gabi Brito (Beach Cities Alpha) also qualified with four individual events (100 FR, 50 FL, 100 FL, 50 BK), coming off a third-place finish in the 50m butterfly at Toyota Nationals. Paige Downey (Gold Medal Swim Club) also returns to the team, qualifying in the 800m freestyle after swimming in 2024.

"This is an exciting group with a tremendous amount of talent up and down the roster," said Kim Williams, USA Swimming National Team Director & Coach. "These athletes fought to get themselves on this team with their performances at Toyota Nationals and proved they're ready to compete at a high level. We're excited to watch them represent their clubs and USA Swimming on the international stage in Vancouver."

Chris Plumb (Carmel Swim Club) will serve as the head coach. Assistant coaches for the team will be Joe Natina (Pleasanton Seahawks), Sean Quinn (Mecklenburg Swim Association), Brent Arckey (Sarasota Sharks), Alyson Hannan (Nashville Aquatic Club), and Sarah Welter (Valparaiso Swim Club). Natina returns to the Junior Pan Pacs coaching staff after serving as an assistant coach for the 2024 team.

Carmel Swim Club leads all clubs with three athletes on this year's roster. Ellie Clarke will swim the 200m backstroke, while on the men's side, Yi Zheng qualified in the 400m IM and Trent Allen in the 400m freestyle.
