Media Roster | Selection Criteria 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Swimming, the National Governing Body of the sport of swimming in the United States, today announced its 2026-2027 U.S. National Team Presented by Toyota. The roster is comprised of 101 swimmers from across the nation, selected on results from the 2025-2026 swim season, ranging from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026.  

“This National Team reflects the incredible depth of talent we have across the country,” USA Swimming National Team Executive Director and Coach Greg Meehan said. “We have veteran athletes continuing to perform at the highest level alongside a talented group making their first National Team. That combination of experience and emerging talent gives us a lot to be excited about as we build toward LA28.” 

Katie Ledecky (Bethesda, Maryland/Gator Swim Club) leads the way with her 15th National Team selection – the highest total by an active National Team athlete. On the men’s roster, Ryan Murphy (Jacksonville, Fla./Bolles School Sharks) leads all male swimmers with his 14th career National Team selection. 

Eighteen athletes make their USA Swimming National Team debut, headlined by U.S. National Champion Anna Moesch (Green Brook, N.J./Greater Somerset County YMCA), who broke her own American record in the 100m freestyle en route to her first national title, and Josh Bey (Hinsdale, Ill./Highland Hurricanes Swim Club), who won his first national title in the 200m breaststroke, out-touching the field by just four-hundredths of a second. 

Regan Smith (Lakeville, Minn./Riptide Swim Team) qualifies for this year’s National Team in eight events, marking the highest count among female swimmers, while Ryan Erisman (Windermere, Fla./Lakers Swimming) and Carson Foster (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mason Manta Rays) lead the men’s field with five events apiece. 

The full roster features 46 women and 55 men, spanning 29 states and 22 universities. Florida is the most-represented home state with 11 athletes, and the University of Texas is the most-represented university with 19 athletes.
