Add Education to Your Season Plan with Additional Coaching Network Webinars on USA Swimming University

A new season is upon us, and school is in session for coaches nationwide. Five additional Coaching Network Courses were recently added to USA Swimming University; bringing the total to 11 free coaching network webinar courses members can utilize. Take advantage now by logging into USA Swimming University and registering for the live webinars.
What are the Coaching Network Webinar courses?
The 10 & Under, 11-14, and Senior Group Coaching Network webinars draw on the experience of experts in their field, providing unique learning opportunities for coaches who work with specific age groups. The specialized Let’s Dive In format allows coach members to contribute and share ideas on specialized topics. Both speaker presentation webinars and the Let’s Dive In series are recorded live throughout the year. Registration for all available live webinars is available on the Coaches Community website.
What are the new courses and topics?
Here is a list of newly added webinars:
10 & Under Network:
- Keeping Practice Fun: Age group coaches around the country share creative and fun activities and sets they utilize with their groups.
- Key Points to Freestyle: Learn essential skills for developing freestyle and maintaining skills as swimmers progress from the 50 to the 500.
11-14 Network:
- USA Swimming University: Coaches gain insight into the USA Swimming University is and how to use it.
- Training, Volume, Frequency, and Transitioning from Skill Development to Higher Volume: Coaches share their philosophies and methods for training and educating parents and swimmers.
Senior Group Network:
- Reporting Tools and National Practice Data: Ever wonder how to access reports in SWIMS or engage with National Practice Data? This webinar course explains both.

Are there additional opportunities to learn about topics outside of the Coaching Network Webinars?
USA Swimming University is a one-stop shop for USA Swimming member education. Click the courses below to learn more about each topic:
- Legacy Series: Learn from legacy coaches in our sport through engaging long-form videos approximately one hour in length. Topics include how to develop swim programs and successful athletes through their celebrated careers.
- American Development Model (ADM): Apply the ADM for Swimming to create and manage your program’s long-term athlete development plan.
- Swimposium 2.0: There is only one more in-person opportunity for coaches to expand their knowledge and gain ADM certifications this year. Hosted by Middle Atlantic and Allegheny Mountain, it will provide attendees with the opportunity to complete their ADM Age Group Certification. Once completed, only one additional online module is required to gain ADM Senior Coach Certification.
