      Chief Commercial Officer

      A former collegiate swimmer at the United States Naval Academy and a long-time sports industry executive, Shana Ferguson brings an unparalleled level of outside experience to USA Swimming and the USA Swimming Foundation. Following a decade with performance sportswear giant Under Armour as the Head of Global Experiential Marketing, Head of Global Corporate Social Responsibility, and Head of Marketing for UA Canada, Shana also spent time as Vice President of Integrated Marketing & Communications at Icahn Automotive Group, and automotive aftermarket conglomerate.


      In her role at USA Swimming, Shana leads the Commercial Division which includes the core functions of sponsorship sales, revenue generation, marketing, creative, communications, event marketing, business intelligence, digital platforms, media rights, and fundraising development for the USA Swimming Foundation. Shana’s team is responsible for creating strategic plans to grow the organization’s business portfolio and generate revenues and donations that enhance athlete services, activities, and marketable assets. The Commercial team is acutely focused on delivering greater value to USA Swimming members, partners and donors through improved communication, better benefits, and stronger programs.


      Shana is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and spends her free time volunteering for veteran service organizations and training for triathlons with her husband Matt.
