Welcome to the 11-14 Network for coaches. This FREE virtual learning session provides an opportunity for coaches to listen and learn from another age group coach. We invite you to join and connect with other coaches throughout the session.

Topic: Goal Setting for Age Group Athletes
Learn how to guide young swimmers (ages 11–14) in setting meaningful, motivating, and measurable goals—both in and out of the pool. Coaches will leave with clear, actionable strategies to guide young swimmers toward meaningful goals and lasting success.

Guest Speaker: Coach Maryanne Svoboda
Maryanne Svoboda is the Head Age Group Coach at Cy-Fair Swim Club (FLEET) in Houston, Texas, where she coaches 9–12-year-olds and leads the charge in building a strong, connected team culture from the ground up.

A coach, homeschooling mom of four, and former swimmer herself, Maryanne brings a practical approach to helping kids set goals that matter and learn how to work for them.

She’s passionate about developing not just fast swimmers, but great teammates—and she’s excited to share what’s worked (and what hasn’t) in the trenches of age group coaching.
