Tom Luchsinger has been involved with swimming for as long as he can remember. Originally from Eastern Long Island, New York, he began his journey through the sport as an age group swimmer with the Three Village Swim Club. His years of dedication to athletics provided him with the opportunity to swim both collegiately and professionally.
Prior to joining USA Swimming as the Director of Development, he served as a Director at CCS Fundraising, a consulting firm that specializes in the non-profit sector. While at CCS, Luchsinger managed comprehensive fundraising campaigns, analyzed development strategies and performed campaign planning studies across a variety of non-profit sectors. Prior to CCS, he served in a variety of frontline fundraising roles with Columbia University, working as a Development Assistant, Coordinator and Assistant Director of Philanthropy across his time with the University.
Luchsinger received his Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University and a bachelor’s from North Carolina. While at Chapel Hill, he was an All-American, Atlantic Coast Conference Champion and USA Swimming National Champion. He is an avid master’s swimmer, representing the New York Athletic Club.
