USA Swimming Signs Multi-Year Partnership with Hyperice

by USA Swimming
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Swimming, the national governing body for the sport of swimming in the U.S., and Hyperice, the industry leader in recovery technology and pioneer of percussion, vibration, dynamic air compression and thermal technology, today announced a new multi-year partnership.
As USA Swimming’s exclusive Recovery Technology Supplier, Hyperice will provide USA Swimming’s National Team and Junior National Team athletes with products through 2024, as well as offer its line of recovery technology and wellness solutions for purchase to athletes and members at a discounted price.
Shana Ferguson, Chief Commercial Officer of USA Swimming said, “Competitive advantage is honed both in and out of the pool, and our athletes recognize rest and recovery as critical components of their performance. We are grateful to Hyperice for equipping our nation’s best swimmers with the industry’s best tools to assist in injury prevention and recovery. This is a partnership our athletes are buzzing about!”
As part of the multi-year partnership, Hyperice will have the ability to promote its products to USA Swimming members and fans through promotional pieces and member communications, but also the opportunity to build a social series and create content with athletes and coaches about how USA Swimming athletes use technology to improve their warmup, wellness and recovery. Hyperice has also provided USA Swimming with a Recovery Room at the national office where USA Swimming members and staff can utilize a full range of Hyperice and Normatec recovery technology.
“USA Swimming has always put the health and well-being of their members first, whether it’s your first time entering the pool or if you are a member of the Olympic Team,” said Shawn Beitelspacher, Vice President of NGBs at Hyperice. “Hyperice shares these core values and our unrivaled technology will now fuel the National Team’s success while educating all members on the importance of recovery."
The partnership also grants Hyperice rights to official marks, branding, marketing and promotional opportunities at the Toyota U.S. Open, Speedo Junior National Championships, Speedo Winter Junior National Championships, Speedo Invitational, TYR Pro Swim Series events and Phillips 66 National Championships.
