USA Swimming and Frito-Lay Announce Partnership

Frito-Lay Named the Official Salty Snack of USA Swimming

 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Swimming, the national governing body of swimming in the United States, and Frito-Lay today announced a new one-year partnership naming Frito-Lay the Official Salty Snack of USA Swimming.

 

As part of the partnership, USA Swimming’s logo and athlete imagery will be featured on Frito-Lay point of sale displays in grocery and convenience stores across the country. Swimming fans will also be able to cheer on their favorite swimmers with the interactive Splash Bash Viewers Guide, party recipes from Frito-Lay, and swimming games to be played on social media.

 

With support from USA Swimming, local swim clubs host Splash Bash parties to provide interactive entertainment for fans to watch and support the U.S. swimmers in international competitions. The Splash Bash parties include a digital-downloadable viewers guide that contains trivia, games, party tips, ads, and more to make watching more fun, even from a distance. Fans can also monitor social media for interactive swimming games where they can compete at home against roommates, family and friends, as well as two social media ‘Swimming Series’ that will contain fun, at-home recipes provided by Frito-Lay.

This was a fun bridge for us to build, as our youth and adult members certainly love Frito-Lay products.”
