McRoberts Named in Leaders Under 40 Class of 2022
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Lucinda McRoberts, Chief Administrative Officer for USA Swimming and Executive Director of the USA Swimming Foundation, was named today among the Leaders Under 40 Class of 2022.
Thirty individuals under the age of 40 were recognized by Leaders, a global network for professionals in sport, for continually pushing boundaries in sport and making their mark on the industry over the past 12 months. From hundreds of entries from across the globe, a judging panel of sports industry executives selected this year’s Leaders Under 40 Class of 2022, sponsored by Deloitte.
As Chief Administrative Officer, McRoberts has relied on her experience leading the organization’s legal, risk management, human resources, information technology, and Safe Sport divisions to facilitate its short and long-term strategic planning. In 2019, she was recognized among Sports Business Journal’s ninth annual class of Game Changers which featured 40 women in senior leadership roles across sports business.
Earlier this year, McRoberts was also named as Executive Director of the USA Swimming Foundation where she is responsible for the corporate governance and strategic planning of the philanthropic arm of USA Swimming.
“I’m passionate about the work I’ve been able to do at USA Swimming, and now leading the USA Swimming Foundation,” McRoberts said. “We continue to push the bounds of what it means to be a best-in-class National Governing Body so to be recognized for supporting our athletes in and out of the water is a tremendous honor.”
McRoberts will be recognized September 27 at the Leaders Sports Awards ceremony at the Natural History Museum in London.
