Storylines and Streaming Information for 2022 Toyota U.S. Open

The 2022 Toyota U.S. Open takes place this week — seeing hundreds of top competitors dive into the Greensboro Aquatic Center pool from November 30-December 3. The first day of competition also marks the first day that the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming time standards are open, adding an additional layer of excitement to the event.
Headlining the field are Olympic talents Katie Ledecky (Bethesda, Md./Gator Swim Club), Chase Kalisz (Bel Air, Md./Sun Devil Swimming), Hunter Armstrong (Dover, Ohio/California Aquatics), Regan Smith (Lakeville, Minn./Sun Devil Swimming) and more. The swims will be the first time competing since this summer for Kalisz and Smith, while Ledecky and Armstrong swam at the 2022 FINA World Cup earlier this month.
Numerous emerging 18&Under talents will swim in Greensboro, including U.S. National Team members Leah Hayes (Sugar Grove, Ill./Fox Valley Park District Riptides), Erin Gemmell (Potomac, Md./Nation's Capital Swim Club) and Daniel Diehl (Cumberland, Va./YMCA of Cumberland) alongside U.S. National Junior Team members Cavan Gormsen (Wantagh, N.Y./Long Island Aquatic Club), Josh Parent (Wilbraham, Mass./Bluefish Swim Club), Michaela Mattes (Sarasota, Fla./Sarasota Sharks) and Kaii Winkler (Miami, Fla./Eagle Aquatics).
Competition begins Wednesday evening with the 800-meter freestyle and 4x200m freestyle relay. Thursday-Saturday prelims will begin at 9 a.m. ET while finals start at 6 p.m. ET.
