KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - USA Swimming is kicking off the 2024 TYR Pro Series in Knoxville this week, with 625 athletes competing from across the U.S. and around the world. The meet will take place at the Allen Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center pool in Knoxville, Tennessee, from  January 10-13.

Let’s take a look at TPSS Knoxville by the numbers:

  • 62 current U.S. National Team members
  • 30 U.S. Olympians
  • 12 American record holders
  • 22 National Junior Team members

Leading the charge of 30 U.S. Olympians are notable names such as Katie Ledecky, Bobby Finke, and Ryan Murphy. Several athletes competing this week were on the 2023 World Aquatics Junior Championships team, including Joshua Chen and Addison Sauickie. Chen topped the podium in the men’s 100m breaststroke, while Sauickie took home gold and bronze medal in the women’s 200m and 400m freestyle.
