Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Named Centennial Partner of USA Swimming

by USA Swimming
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Swimming, the national governing body (NGB) for the sport of swimming in the United States, today announced Bulleit Frontier Whiskey has signed on as a Centennial Partner in support of the NGB at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming, presented by Lilly.
The Olympic Trials, to be held June 15-23 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, is the only qualifying meet to name the 2024 Olympic Team heading to Paris in July. To produce a swim meet of this magnitude, USA Swimming and Indiana Sports Corp rely on local businesses to offer financial and operational assistance. Becoming a Centennial Partner allows corporations to activate a global event locally. The term Centennial Partner harkens back to the 1924 Olympic Trials in Indianapolis, when that Olympic team traveled to Paris. An entire century later, the Olympic team will again be named in Indianapolis and sent to Paris.
Bulleit Frontier Whiskey has the unique designation of being the entitled partner of the Sustainability Story for this event. All water being utilized in the Olympic Trials pools will be sourced from the White River and treated to the highest standards for world class swimming competition. At the conclusion of Trials, the water will be stripped of chlorine, chemicals, and other impurities before being returned to the White River.
Bulleit Frontier Whiskey will also be the presenting partner of the USA Swimming Dive Bar, a first-of-its-kind hospitality space to be built underneath the pools in Lucas Oil Stadium.
"We are so grateful to the team at Bulleit Frontier Whiskey for seeing the many possibilities in this grand event," said USA Swimming CEO and President Tim Hinchey. "All eyes will be on our athletes swimming in nearly two million gallons of water, and to tell the story of returning all water used in better condition than when it was sourced is something we are extremely proud of. We are also excited to be able to offer more hospitality experiences than ever before at a swim meet, such as the Dive Bar presented by Bulleit Frontier Whiskey.”
“We at Bulleit Frontier Whiskey are honored to be a part of this first of its kind event with the US Olympic Swimming Trials being held in Lucas Oil Stadium,” said Johannah Rogers, Bulleit Brand Director. “This cultural moment will impact and benefit the city of Indianapolis in many ways, and we are excited to share our spirit through touchpoints that align with our brand values - sustainability and hospitality. We look forward to the city of Indianapolis and fans from all over the world responsibly experiencing Bulleit Frontier Whiskey in our activation site and within the unique and bespoke USA Swimming Dive Bar for consumers 21+.”
“I want to thank the team at Diageo for becoming a Centennial Partner of USA Swimming for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming, presented by Lilly. This partnership continues to show Indy’s commitment to taking this Olympic Trials to the next level,” said Indiana Sports Corp President Patrick Talty. “The Sustainability Story is important to keep our city safe by cleaning and returning all the water used for Trials. We are also excited for fans 21+ to have a totally unique experience at USA Swimming Dive Bar. Bulleit Frontier Whiskey’s support will be crucial in accomplishing our goal of hosting a one-of-a-kind event that will leave a lasting impact on our community.”
All Centennial Partners receive consideration with ticketing, hospitality, and brand recognition for their contributions to learn to swim programs and the conduct of the Trials.
