USA Swimming is proud to announce a strategic alliance with Positive Athlete, an organization dedicated to recognizing high school age student-athletes who exemplify character, leadership, resilience and other positive attributes. USA Swimming athletes are eligible for scholarships and recognition as part of our mission to grow swimming and develop well-rounded young leaders. Nominations are open for high school student-athletes (grades 9–12) who exemplify character, leadership, resilience, and positivity, in and out of the pool.

Nominees gain access to the following opportunities:

• Scholarship opportunities available nationwide
• National and regional award recognition
• Free access to the Positive Athlete Digital Platform – including resume building, career development, and leadership training

Nominations are open now through mid-April, 2026 and are completely free.

Any adult aged 18 and over can nominate a student-athlete, including, coaches, teachers, parents, and mentors.
