Day 4 Results: May 23, 2026
Women's 800m Freestyle - FINAL
1. Kennedi Dobson (Levittown, Pa./Eastern Express Swim Team), 8:33.50
2. Thilda Haell (SWE), 8:36.67
3. Michaela Mattes (Sarasota, Fla./Sandpipers of Nevada), 8:47.14
Dobson on her race and learnings from the weekend: "I'm hurting a little bit because of the long week, but that was fun. I have fun doing longer races because they involve some strategy. They are always fun for me."
Dobson's thoughts on the meet: "I think just knowing that you can do hard things, even when you're going through hard training blocks. You can still drop time or just have fun at these kinds of meets. It gives you a perspective of where you can be at the end of the summer."
Men's 800m Freestyle - FINAL
1. Luka Mijatovic (Pleasanton, Calif./ Pleasanton Seahawks), 7:47.08
2. Ethan Ekk (Tallahassee, Fla/Alto Swim Club), 8:00.70
3. Juan Vallmitjana (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./South Florida Aquatic Club), 8:00.88
Mitjatovic on his race: "Coming into this meet, I didn't really have many expectations because it's the beginning of the season. But after I saw the first couple of results, I knew I had something left in the tank. I just tried to push through as much as I could."
Women's 800m Freestyle - FINAL
1. Torri Huske (Arlington, Va./Unattached), 25.95
2. Taylor Ruck (CAN), 26.07
3. Lismar Lyon (VEN), 26.08
Huske on her dominant meet: "I think this meet went fine, honestly, it's not about the time right now. I am a little beat down, but I was just trying to execute a good race strategy. I think 200 free was definitely my best event of the meet, and I am really proud of how I executed that, my race strategy, and just trusting myself. This meet was a good midpoint before this summer."
Men's 50m Butterfly - FINAL
1. Santo Condorelli (Jacksonville, Fla./FAST Swim Team), 23.12
2. Dylan Carter (TTO), 23.13
3. Sean Niewold (NED), 23.21
Condorelli on his race: "It was better than the rest of the week, that's for sure. It's a good, fun meet; it's not too much pressure, but it's my first one back since December. I can see where I am, and it's a good spot. It's just fun to get up and get faster from morning to night; it's the biggest thing. Plus, I get a little cash, so I'm having steak tonight."

3. Gavin Keogh (Erie, Colo./NC State University), 1:59.27
Jones on his race: "I felt pretty good in the 100; I got off to a pretty good start. I was happy about that; it's something I've been trying to work on. For where we are, going 1:57 low, twice in two days, is really good after four 200s. Just back to the drawing board, looking at some of my tempo falling apart a little bit. I want to stay long, but I was pretty happy with it."
Jones on his preparation for this meet: "Training has been going really well. Coming into this meet, the whole Cal group was a little nervous because we had finals last week, so we didn't know what to expect. I think we had a pretty decent meet, so there were positives to take away from it."

Berkoff on her race: I swam pretty straight this morning; it was a little harder tonight with the sun in our eyes. That was the number one goal: swim straight."
Berkoff on improving in backstroke: "Just a lot of power work and getting those details right and knowing the county stroke for every 50 I do."
Berkoff on swimming in the bright conditions: “I’m really proud of how straight I swam. It’s always a gamble swimming backstroke outside, especially where the sun was tonight in the 50 back. I literally couldn’t see a thing, so that was more luck than anything. But this morning I actually knew where I was in the lane. I’m really proud of how straight I’ve been swimming and where I am in training. I have really been amping it up for the past couple of months and hit a breaking point at the end of last week. I was thinking that I hadn't been this tired since my sophomore year of college. To be able to go :58 and :27, I was really happy with it.”
Men's 50m Backstroke - FINAL
1. Ryan Murphy (Jacksonville, Fla./California Aquatics), 25.17
2. Aiden Hayes (Norman, Okla./NC State University), 25.36
3. Daniel Diehl (Cumberland, Md./NC State University), 25.37
Murphy on his race: "That works for a 50. I'm just shaking off the rust. I've come here to get the competitive juices flowing again."
Murphy on what the legacy of the backstroke means to him: "I've always been a fan of the sport. I've always been a fan of USA Swimming. I was a fan growing up and remember the Krayzelburg days. I've gotten to know Lenny better over the years, and watching Piersol, Grevers, Lochte, you know, I am probably missing someone in there, but all those guys were holding it down for the U.S. for a long time. It is awesome to learn from them and put my own flavor on my style.
I've been away from the sport for the last two years. I'm getting back into it and relearning what it's like to compete for the U.S. It's not something I will be able to do this summer, but hopefully next summer I'll have an opportunity to qualify. I definitely root for the guys who put the USA cap on for us this summer and hope that they do really well for us."
Women's 200m Freestyle - FINAL
1. Torri Huske (Arlington, Va./Unattached), 1:57.15
2. Kennedi Dobson (Levittown, Pa. /Eastern Express Swim Team), 1:57.38
3. Bella Sims (Las Vegas, Nev./Sandpipers of Nevada), 1:58.54
Huske on her double: "It's been pretty hard, but I feel like I'm in very good shape, quality-wise. I feel like I can do a lot and race a lot. I feel fine; my muscles have been feeling pretty tired this week. I think it's because of the heat, but you can't control everything. That's a good thing for my training; I need to have some obstacles. I feel like if this past summer taught me anything, it's that you can race a lot better than you think when you don't feel great."
Men's 200m Freestyle - FINAL
1. Henry McFadden (Haddonfield, N.J./Jersey Wahoos), 1:47.34
2. Keaton Jones (Gilbert, Ariz./California Aquatics), 1:48.04
3. Luka Mijatovic (Pleasanton, Calif./ Pleasanton Seahawks), 1:48.11
McFadden on his preparation: "I'm really tired right now after a big block of training. I lifted really heavy on Monday, so just feeling really tired. First time I've raced long course in some time, so I needed to adjust to it and focus on the specifics of the race."
McFadden on dealing with elements: "I love racing outside. We train outside every day, so we are used to these conditions."
Women's 400m Individual Medley - FINAL
1. Kennedi Dobson (Levittown, Pa. /Eastern Express Swim Team), 4:43.73
2. Emma Hussein (Stevenson Ranch, Calif./Canyons Aquatic), 4:48.88
3. Kathryn Hazle (San Diego, Calif./California Aquatics), 4:48.88
Dobson on the race: “That was honestly really surviving, especially after that 200 free. I was cramping quite a bit. It’s less pressure for me because I don’t have to compete that often.”
Dobson on her double: “We’ve been doing a lot of good training, and I think that helps. I always think doing a lot of races is super fun, so it feels rewarding to do two hard events in a row.”
Men's 400m Individual Medley - FINAL
1. Syunta Lee (Mill Creek, Wash./West Coast Aquatics), 4:22.00
2. Grant Sanders (Clearwater, Fla./Saint Petersburg Aquatics), 4:22.25
3. Joey Tepper (Egg Harbor Township, N.J./University of Minnesota), 4:22.45
Lee on the close race: "I knew in the first half - in the fly and back - that I was going to be behind because those are my weakest in the 400 IM. I had a really hard time getting up on my backstroke, but I knew if I just didn't let that get in my head, I could execute it the way I wanted to. I used that breaststroke to get me there, and the last 50 I was focused on finishing strong."
Day 1 Results: May 20, 2026
Men's 1500m Freestyle - FINAL
1. Luka Mijatovic (Pleasanton, Calif./ Pleasanton Seahawks), 14:59.27
2. Juan Vallmitjana (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./South Florida Aquatic Club), 15:24.07
3. Ellis Crisci (Lawrence, Kan./Tsunami Swim Team of KC), 15:32.32
Mijatovic on his race: "During the race, I just try to stick with my plan and build throughout the race. Last time I swam it, I took it out a little too hard. This time around, I tried to take it out a little more controlled, so I have room for the back half. During warm-up, I felt pretty good. The past couple of weeks have been pretty grueling training. So coming here, I didn't have very many expectations, but I'm happy with the result."
Women's 200m IM - FINAL
1. Torri Huske (Arlington, Va./Unattached), 2:11.34
2. Katie Christopherson (Atlanta, Ga./SwimAtlanta), 2:13.15
3. Lauren Lonsdale (Sacramento, Calif./DART Swimming), 2:14.27
Huske on her swim: "Going into it, I was hopeful that I could put together a good race. I felt pretty good in the warm-up compared to the morning. I was pacing pretty well, so I was just hoping that I could put something pretty decent together. My legs have never felt like that after a race. It felt like when you run, and your lungs are burning. It really hurt."
Men's 200m IM - FINAL
1. Finlay Knox (CAN), 1:59.27
2. Grant House (Maineville, Ohio/Sun Devil Swimming), 2:00.61

2. Yamato Okadome (JPN), 27.03
3. Mitch Mason (Houston, Texas/Texas Ford Aquatics), 27.10
Andrew on his race: "It was a really good morning, pretty quick with a full beard and everything. I was kind of having fun. Breaststroke is a weird one, so I'm really focused on not overdoing it. I think I overdid it. We had a strategy and a race plan. I think it was executed well, but I think the efficiency is lacking. I get in my head and start to rush. I have a few things to fix. In streamline, my arms started to slip off my head on the initial start of the breakout, so that threw off a little bit of the rhythm. Other than that, I'm happy with the consistency and glad it's faster than Westmont."
Women's 100m Backstroke - FINAL
1. Katharine Berkoff (Missoula, Mont./Wolfpack Elite), 58.88
2. Mary-Ambre Moluh (FRA), 59.41
3. Rhyan White (Herriman, Utah/Wolfpack Elite), 1:00.93
Berkoff on her race: "Honestly, I was pretty surprised I went that fast. The past two weeks, I've been through some of the hardest training I've done in a long time. I've been really tired, so to go a :58, I was really happy with that swim."
Men's 100m Backstroke - FINAL
1. Daniel Diehl (Cumberland, Md./NC State University), 53:74
2. Ryan Murphy (Jacksonville, Fla./California Aquatics), 53.91
3. Blake Tierney (CAN), 54.59
Diehl on his swim: "My main goal at this meet was to practice backstroke outside. This morning, I hit the lane line in both of my races. Somehow, I managed not to in that one, so I'm pretty hyped about that."
