My second 50, just keep it going and not force it, especially as I see people next to me and start to focus on them a little bit more. The third 50 I tried to build and the last 50 I was just trying to get my legs in, don’t let my hips drop at all and use all forward motion.”

Alexy on his finals race: “I just wanted to not overthink this. It’s just two laps down the pool, and I’ve done this several times. I just wanted to go in (the pool) and do it again. I added a little bit of time, my dive was a little deep, but I was still able to go :47-low. I’ll definitely take that for now.”
